As if the loss of the hilarious and outspoken Bernie Mac was not
enough, we have also lost the great voice of Memphis Soul that is (and Was)
Mr. Isaac Hayes. The writer of "Hot Buttered Soul", "Hold On, I'm Comin',"
and perhaps the greatest movie theme ever..."I'm talkin' bout Shaft. Can you dig it?"
has died in his Memphis home. We musn't forget his work, as many didn't know that he was also
a brilliant actor. I've enclosed a piece from Truck Turner, one of the best blaxploitation films...ever
with a theme song by...Isaac Hayes.
