The other night, feeling a bit inspired, I put together a track that featured
a screaming analogue bass sound, along with a tight, intense drumbeat.
Because you have to name each one of these files, I called it "Rustle Crow"
for no reason, then put in a slideshow of the brooding actor.
For all you trainspotters, the track used Opcode Studio Vision, an Arturia Origin, a Dave Smith Instruments Mopho, a microKorg,
a Jomox Mbase 01, and a Korg Electribe Er-1.
Electronic Musician'sGeary Yelton has done a fine write-up
on Richard Devine, the composer and sound designer responsible for a plethora of presets, including many
for my beloved ArturiaOrigin. If you look at the pictures,
you'll see the Origin to the right of the studio on the desktop.
My first video with a complete banjo score, "Wally On The Run" is now available to view.
It was animated by hand and features music from the fine actor and comedian Steve Martin,
who is also a fine banjo player and composer as well.
